This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Wallet Ledger ("the App", "we", "us", or "our"), operated under wallet.tryconverti.com, collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information collected from users ("User", "you") of our mobile application and web dashboard services.

Wallet Ledger is designed as a digital ledger, cash book, and personal/business khata management application that assists merchants, small businesses, and individuals in recording financial transactions, tracking credit/debit balances, generating invoices, and backing up accounting records.

Depending on how you use our App and services, we may collect the following types of information:

• Account & Profile Information: When you register an account, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, and a hashed password or PIN for secure authentication.
• Financial Ledger Entries: Party names (customers, suppliers), transaction amounts, payment dates, debit/credit designations, invoice notes, and payment categories.
• User Uploaded Media: Receipts, bill photos, invoices, and party profile pictures that you voluntarily attach to transaction entries.
• Technical & Device Data: Mobile device model, operating system version (e.g. Android 16 / API 36), unique device identifiers, IP address, and crash telemetry to diagnose bugs and optimize app performance.
• Biometric Data (Local Only): If you enable App Lock using Fingerprint or Face ID, authentication is handled 100% locally by your device's native hardware via Android BiometricPrompt. We never receive, store, or transmit your biometric templates.

To provide core accounting functionalities, Wallet Ledger requests specific runtime permissions on Android devices:

• READ_CONTACTS (Optional): Allows you to quickly select an existing contact from your address book to add them as a customer or supplier without manual typing. We do NOT harvest, upload, or sync your entire contact list to our remote servers.
• CAMERA & READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Required solely to allow you to take photos of paper bills/invoices or select receipt receipts from your gallery to attach to a ledger entry.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS & SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM: Used to deliver timely payment due date reminders, transaction alerts, and backup reminders you have scheduled.
• USE_BIOMETRIC / USE_FINGERPRINT: Enables instant biometric unlocking for your app security.
• INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to securely synchronize your encrypted backups to your cloud account and check server connectivity.

We use your information exclusively for legitimate operational and business purposes:

• To provide, operate, and maintain the digital cash book and party ledger features.
• To calculate credit balances, outstanding payments, and financial summaries.
• To send automated or manual payment reminders (via SMS/WhatsApp intent on your device).
• To generate and export transaction reports in PDF or Excel format.
• To facilitate encrypted cloud backup and multi-device data restoration.
• To detect, prevent, and address security incidents, fraud, or technical malfunctions.

We employ enterprise-level technical, administrative, and physical security measures to safeguard your records:

• Local-First SQLite Storage: All ledger entries and transactions are stored locally on your device in high-performance encrypted SQLite databases. You can use the app seamlessly offline.
• Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted between the mobile application and our servers is secured using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3 / HTTPS) with modern cipher suites.
• Secure Password Hashing: User passwords and security PINs are protected using one-way cryptographic algorithms (Bcrypt / Argon2) and salted to prevent rainbow table attacks.
• Cloud Backup Protection: Encrypted backup snapshots are stored in isolated directories with strict role-based access control.

We do NOT display third-party behavioral ads in Wallet Ledger. We do not sell, license, or monetize your personal or financial records.

We only share minimal necessary technical data with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our services under strict confidentiality agreements:

• Cloud Hosting & Server Infrastructure (Secure data centers located with enterprise compliance).
• Transactional Email Service (SMTP provider used exclusively for OTP verification and password resets).

In accordance with Google Play Developer Policies and global privacy regulations (GDPR / CCPA), you have the right to request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated ledger records at any time.

Wallet Ledger is designed for business operators, professionals, and individuals of legal age (18 years and above). We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If we discover that personal data of a child under 13 has been collected without parental consent, we take immediate steps to delete the information from our servers.
